Scimex Precision advanced wire cutting facility allows the profile shaping of the most complex geometries on even the hardest of material. Our wire cutting machines are also used in conjecture with other machining processes such as turning & milling to remove material at a much higher rate or to cut grooves or spline. The wire cutting provides us with a cutting edge when it comes to hard to machine features or materials.

The materials used in wirecut include – Stainless steel, Titanium, Inconels, Tungsten Carbide, Aluminium Alloys, and Copper.

We can provide specialty production such as prototyping or offer the capacity to support high volume manufacturing services. The newly installed state of the art wire cutting machines from industry leader Sodick provides increased automation and allow the brass wire to be threaded through more effectively each time. This reduces machining processes and manpower handling which minimises unnecessary downtime.
