Scimex precision utilitses a wide variety of high precision CNC turning machinary to provide turning processes which include, cutting, facing, threading, forming, drilling, knurling and boring. The machines are state of the art and are capable of performing 3-axis, 4-axis and 5 axis turning and turn-mill processes providing our clients with flexibility to meet their demands of an intricate design.
Our machines are well equipped to handle products of any size with diameter up to ⌀350mm. We combine the most advanced CNC turning technology with highly knowledgable engineering team to ensure the best tooling is used for speed and accurate in project delivery. Being highly experienced in the precision industry, Scimex have experience working on metals that include steels, aluminium, brass, bronze, copper, iron, lead, nickel, tin, titanium and inconel. For non-metal work, we can machine numerous plastic polymers such as ABS, polycarbonate, PVC, and PTFE.
Our engineering also utilizes custom built tooling and fixtures to carter to the requirements of the project, this ensures that the machine are able to fabricate highly complex designs while tight tolerances and stringent surface finishing are always met.
We can provide specialty production such as prototyping or offer the capacity to support high volume manufacturing services. Our machines are also equipped with sub-spindle technology for added efficiency so that products would be able to be produce in a single operation, this reduces machining processes and manpower handling which minimises unnecessary downtime.
